CULINA ET VINUM

Founded by long-time friends Naomi Lowry and Abhi Mahadevan, the duo has created a unique dining experience within Sydney’s Elizabeth Bay. Latin for Kitchen and Wine, Culina Et Vinum combines two of humanity’s oldest joys to marvellous effect.

Offering a cosy and modern dining experience Naomi’s European inspired seasonal menu references her childhood with classic dishes cooked by her grandma highlighting local, sustainable and fresh produce, including dry-aged meats which sit on display. Offering sublime atmosphere, Culina offers comfort food with a refined edge including the traditional Gnocchi Alla Norma, reinventing simple Italian flavours and a dry-aged lamb served with cannellini bean hummus, fried sprouts, rosemary and anchovy dressing.

Abhi bringing a wealth of expertise and love to the extensive wine list, which incorporates a faultless mix of old and new world wines. The philosophy behind the wine offering was to enable guests to explore hidden gems while savouring alongside the evolving Culina Et Vinum food menu. Offering a comprehensive selection of wines available by the glass, along with a treasure-trove of international and local wines by the bottle, even the most astute wine critic is bound to enjoy exploring Abhi’s selections.

When a passion and career collide, it’s a beautiful thing. When two passions collide in one venue, the result is magical. Culina Et Vinum perfectly combines Naomi’s innate love for great food with Abhi’s wisdom of the wine world to create a true gem in the Sydney Restaurant Scene.
