The G 580's exterior seamlessly integrates the timeless G-Class silhouette with contemporary touches. Available in the classic design or the innovative Black Panel grille with an illuminated contour, the front facade makes a powerful statement. Paired with the distinctive rear design box, the wheels are optimized for better aerodynamics, enhancing both performance and efficiency.  The Superior Line Interior features classic black Nappa leather upholstery, with optional colors like macchiato beige/magma grey or Tartufo brown/black in a diamond design. With 3D surround sound system ensuring an immersive audio experience, alongside the sliding sunroof and ambient lighting enhance overall ambiance.  The MANUFAKTUR customisation program offered by Mercedes Benz x offers nearly limitless customization, allowing owners to select from numerous paint finishes and upholstery options.

 

True to its heritage, the G 580 with EQ Technology excels in offroad environments. Designed to tackle steep ascents, deep waters, and challenging inclines, the G 580 boasts a maximum fording depth of 850mm and can handle inclines as steep as 35° (70% gradient). The launch of the G 580 with EQ Technology was held on a picturesque evening at Franklin Canyon Park in Beverly Hills, featuring a surprise performance by Travis Scott. The rapper made a grand entrance, driving the electric blue G 580 onto a stage suspended in the middle of the lake showcasing the vehicle's construction.  The Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ Technology marks a significant milestone in the evolution of the G-Class.
