LE LABYRINTHE, HOTEL DE LA MARINE

Presented by Paris Design week, Jeremy Pradier-Jeauneau vision transforms the Hotel de la Marine into a poetic journey with Le Labyrinthe, a monumental and immersive installation that blends contemporary design, fine craftsmanship, and French heritage.

At the heart of the Labyrinth is Jeremy Pradier-Jeauneau's visionary approach to pay homage to the DNA of the Hotel de la Marine, reimagining the space as a living tribute to its heritage as the royal furniture repository under Louis XV, and today's Decorative Arts. Bringing together the themes of two paradoxes - loss and discovery, featuring a dynamic interplay of design objects, installations, rare materials, and artworks, with functional and abstract pieces. Each inviting exploration of the intersection between legacy and contemporary creativity.

The adventure begins with a monumental entrance flanked by two wing-shaped doors, stepping further into a maze-like architecture made of Maria flora fabrics stretched over scaffolding. This tactile passage captures the restless, ever-transforming energy of Paris, paying a homage to French savoir-faire - where design, craftsmanship and heritage meets a poetic journey.

Visitors embark on a promenade that fuses tradition and avant-garde expression, each piece chosen in dialogue with history and space, inviting an immersive space to be inspired, decorate, and continue their journey beyond the museum, into the worlds of artisans, designers, and collaborators celebrated in an unconventional repository of imagination.
