THE DARLING, GOLD COAST
Offering the perfect combination of boutique design and international luxury, The Darling Gold Coast is the perfect escape, transporting its guests into a realm of relaxation, glamour, and entertainment.

Completed by The Star Gold Coast’s signature restaurants and bars, world-class gaming, state-of-the-art theatre and exciting nightlife, The Darling is the premier accommodation destination on the Gold Coast. Featuring alluring and rich interiors lined in marble, exotic timbers, and glowing champagne gold, the hotel features a line-up of bespoke suites and a series of opulent penthouses.  One of its premier deluxe penthouses includes a spacious circular living area and formal dining room spanning over 330 square metres with floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the Star precinct glimmering with extravagant chandeliers throughout and a dedicated billiard room boasting a large custom-made table by Spinster.

With an array of fine dining available within the precinct, multi-award-winning restaurant, Kiyomi, offers cutting-edge Japanese cuisine with an internationally trained chef Chase Kojima at the helm of a passionate and extremely skilled team, it’s no wonder that Kiyomi continues its reign at the top of the Gold Coast’s elite foodie scene. Handpicked by Chef Chase are Chef De Cuisine Winson Law, and Specialty Sushi Chef Lenny Lim, who leads the team in delivering exceptional service and memorable dining experiences. Kiyomi celebrates shared dining and features an ‘Izakaya-style’ menu. The name Kiyomi (a rare Japanese citrus fruit - a hybrid of mandarin and sweet orange) reflects both the creative blend of Japanese and Australian flavours as well as the extensive use of fresh, citrus flavours throughout the menu.

Sitting atop of the Darling Hotel also sits Nineteen, the signature fine-dining restaurant and nightlife venue featuring  sophisticated dining and a relaxed coastal flair, with a focus on sustainability and premium Australian produce.  Executive Chef Uday Huja’s philosophy on food is to use “great ingredients, simply prepared with finesse”. With an emphasis on fresh seafood, diners are invited to embark on Nineteen at The Star’s new signature ‘Oyster Journey’ which takes guests on an oyster-tasting experience along the NSW coast from North to South. An experience unique to Nineteen at The Star, guests are invited to enjoy the different characteristics of fresh oysters derived from the river and tidal origins, with new varieties, added seasonally.

Whether you are visiting the Star Gold Coast for business or pleasure you won’t be left disappointed with something on offer for everyone.
