THE TREEHOUSE RESIDENCE BY FREEMAN & CO AND STUDIOJOS FOR PEMBE BEKIR

The Treehouse Residence, designed for Pembe Bekir and her family, combines minimalist detailing and contemporary form to evoke a sense of calm and quiet luxury. This project is a collaboration between designers Freeman & Co and Studiojos, who have merged their distinct aesthetics to create a modern sanctuary that seamlessly integrates the home’s solid glass structure with the surrounding natural environment.

Jack Freeman, the driving force behind FREEMAN & CO, also leads the forward-thinking FREEMAN new-age design gallery. Known for creating luxury turn-key homes worldwide and custom furniture for the world’s most prestigious locations, FREEMAN Gallery offers contemporary, iconic, and limited-edition design pieces crafted for discerning minimalists and luxury connoisseurs. Joss Knight, the interior architect behind Studiojos, brings a unique and eclectic vision to the project, infusing ultra-luxurious and sophisticated elements throughout.

The residence, spanning three levels, features a variety of thoughtfully designed spaces including a 2-story great room, formal bar and lounge, hotel-grade primary suite, bespoke powder room, and a lower ground in-house underground nightclub. Gentle tones, textures, and curves, paired with bespoke joinery designed to resemble collected furniture, add character and movement, enhancing the experience of moving through the home. One of the standout features of the Treehouse Residence is the bespoke powder room, which boasts a handmade woven ceiling installation from Cancun, Mexico, adding a unique artisanal touch. The craftsmanship and attention to detail in this space exemplify the residence's commitment to combining luxury with personalized design.
